And once again, a big thumbs up to these great enjoyable comics, Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the wordless wonder called Bozo.

1. Funny to see life imitate art. Every now and then I see some one pushing their dog around in a baby carriage.

I’m thinking Foxo Reardon didn’t write the captions above the strips, which all seem designed to prevent overly sensitive readers from being too surprised by the third panel denouement.

Just imagine it in other strips:

PEANUTS: The dog gets the candy!

POGO: And he is us!

Well, I just looked over the hundreds of Bozo originals in my possession, and all have captions written in pencil over them in Foxo Reardon’s (dad’s) hand.

1. Rock-Cur.

1) “The Standing Sitter”: Bozo goes to a rich lady to sit her child. However he is surprised to find out her precious child is a dog!

2) “The Meal”: Order up! Bozo brings in a meal covered and when the man removes it he finds just one frankfurter.

3) “Home Sweet Home”: Arrested again. The Great Improvisor Bozo saws off 2 bars of the window and rigs up hangers for his clothes!
