Uppity. Grimy crime. Now it’s mine. I heard once that selling pencils, or apples, on the street was more about an opportunity for people to give money than simply a way for people to make money. …really?
And FoXo will always enchant you with these wonderful wordless wonders of his called BOZO.
A great master of perspective artwork was FoXo Reardon and in all three strips today are glorious examples of his splendid skills of perspective.
It’s as if me is seeing pictures of a realistic three dimensional cartoon world of BOZO. It’s like watching a silent movie in comics format.
Just look at the depths and details in each scene, foregrounds as well as backgrounds, different angles and perspectives that we the audience sees a scene from. Unlike most gag a day funnies which focus mostly on gag rather than artwork, BOZO a most pleasant picturesque pantomime which is always a pleasure to see.
And not to mentions the fact that FoXo never needed words to tell his funny tales. He did it all through his awesome artwork alone! A pure pantomime, an excellent epitome of picture speaking thousand words.
So no wonder BOZO still comes like a fresh fragrant breeze and still brings great joy and sheer cheer to many even now, after so many decades and era has passed.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and sheer cheer to many more!
…
And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer BOZO!
Today’s missing Bozo strips: #1: Bozo’s car stops on side of road. Bozo flags down approaching car. Bozo approaches the car which has sign on rear that reads “Just Married.” Bozo plants kiss on cheek of new bride. #2: Bozo orders soda inside of drugs store. He leaves store without drinking soda and walks outside with straw meant for soda. Bozo then uses straw to shoot pebble in back of police officer’s head. #3: Bozann standing on sidewalk admires hope chest displayed in window of furniture store. Bozann enters store and is greeted by salesman. Salesman shows Bozann hope chest and opens it. Inside of chest is Bozo who greet Bozann.

1•∙ No way to treat a lady!
2•∙ Preparing for a clean getaway. (Psst, grab the bag, and his clothes, and call the cops.)
3•∙ Now the unfortunate guy will have to spend the $5 for a new hat to hold his pencils. You did him no favor, Bozo.

Not new. Me too. Same here. I think the difference between a rerun and a do over is the reception.

Maybe Bozo made up with Bozann and got a better offer.

I would not like to see Bozann leaving, but I’d love to watch her walk away.
