Forget Hal Jordan and Matt Murdock.

Wallace McClellan is the man without fear.

Fearlessness.

Fearlessness, and audacity.

In the audience, only Rose looks a little doubtful.

And Wallace thinks Spud is weirder than him!?

I like how the tire is flexing under Spud’s weight.

Amelia’s got quite a throwing arm; it would be a shame if she missed Wallace, and hit Spud instead..

Wallace’s mom must love it when he comes home.

“What have you been doing? Do you need a bath?”

It’s clever how in the first four panels we hardly take notice that Wallace is putting on goggles and taking off his clothes because we’re concentrating on the dialogue between Spud and him. So the last panel is a WOW! Clever.

This is Snug Harbor! A large crowd of kids with Wallace in the middle draws EMT’s and the fire department like moths to a light bulb. That and Rose probably has 911 pre dialed on her cell phone.

Wallace is SO much like my favorite 9-year-old!

How many old foods can you find here in snug harbor

Last time we had Amelia throw an old muffin a wasps nest!

That is both an admirable yet unattainable goal for anyone. Weird IS good for you though. It will ultimately get you the undying love of Amelia…..

Well, it helps to not only not fear whatever the heck Amelia’s up to today but also be game to join right in too.

It should read: ‘I wish I were cool’. You’re welcome! ;)

Dats gonna stink a while. Yet by doing this Wallace protects his classmates and keeps Amelia reasonably under control.

Cool is as Cool Does. Amelia does too, so she’s cool.
