With Kaz’s appearance today, my work here is done for a while. Unless we find out that the guy there who looks like Kaz is really Vic pulling an April Fool’s joke on Gil. Mimi’s absence of 9 days doesn’t meet the statutory minimum of being missing at least two weeks before the Coaches Held Hostage count begins. I expect we’ll see her soon for the start of softball, but who knows?
P1 has a finger, possibly the wrong finger directed at Kaz; P2 has some very effeminate hand gestures presented; most guys would not hold their hands that way; and P3 has the classic feminine power stance displayed by Kaz and Gil is reaching for…… what would Freud say about all this? That sometimes a steamy mug is just a steamy mug?
In all reality , on the other hand Gil , Zanie started hitting the roids heavy after his freshman year. Today his body is a better body built by chemicals , think he can pass the mandatory P** test ? Inquiring minds want to know !
Ok, I just re-read the entire 2018 baseball season. That’s the one where Kevin Plewicki discovers launch angle and sets out to break Joe Sharkey’s record of 14 home runs in a season but comes up three homers short. Speaking of short, it’s also the one where Barry Bader sort of apologizes to the team for his horrendous behavior after Dafne Dafonte writes a story about Del Bader’s lack of remorse over killing Boo Radley. There was a lineup card posted early in the season and no Clark was listed. Nor was he ever mentioned in any of the game stories. There was a reference to all pitchers other than the No. 1 starter being .500 on the season, so no real stars among them. I didn’t look at 2019 or 2020 seasons because Zane has reportedly been away for years. Besides, the 2020 season was shortened by Covid. Oh, wait, in the alternate universe of Thorpworld, there was no Covid, so that can’t be the reason Zane didn’t play then.
P1 – Kaz, acting all nonchalant, like, “What, no big deal, I haven’t skipped work for two months or anything.”
P2 – I’m dying to find out what Festival that is on the poster. Could it be the highly anticipated Loofah Festival?
P3 – Okay, the kid hasn’t played baseball in 3 years, and you’re assuming he’s gotten better as a hitter and pitcher since then? I’m going to say no, no he hasn’t.
And speaking of getting better, today’s Mopped Up Thorp has gotten better at insulting people.
Now that Kaz has been found, it can be announced that HvB got Mopman off by using the Chemical Inhalant/Megalomania/Twinkie defense. He’s not allowed to carry matches, and now has to do windows as well as floors. Welcome back!
