Sorry, Luce, your criticism wasn’t constructive enough. Although if you’re interested in a scenario where these two actually do collab on a story, you should check out the episode “Huggable, Buggable Beagle” of The Snoopy Show on Apple TV+. In what is possibly my favorite of all the segments from Season 1, Lucy, Linus, and Peppermint Patty help Snoopy write the next great novel. Great stuff! :D

Since my wife died in March 2021 I have been “writing” in journals/notebooks and some of my language is not safe for a family strip, but it is what I feel right now. I does help but doesn’t change my “anger” about what happened just slows the exploding head.
I always had the reverse problem. I would write a forty-page short story and give it to my wife to read. She would return it with no comment but all the spelling errors corrected. That’s why we’re not married anymore; I can hire an editor. What I needed was a Muse.
Snoopy c’mon don’t write it you can just kick her off, that’s a big feeling like Lucy said :D if that’s ho you feel it’s the same way for me LoL :D

To be honest, Lucy’s idea sounds a bit cliche.At least Snoopy was able to write his feelings without resorting to more colorful language.

In the third panel Schulz is having a playful dig at romantic movies, 99% of which really do seem to rely on the formula which Lucy has described. That’s the joke here; Lucy is expressing one of the biggest clichés in the book (film?).
