Thanks T, for the additional info about the Toronto resident and her house. It would be a shame if the new owners remodeled it. Amazing that she kept it so pristine since the 60’s.
I am suspicious of Wisconsin, if it really exists. I’ve heard of Madison, Oconomowoc, and the Dells and the Ducks (heck, may even have been there long ago in my youth, being a born and bred Chicagolander). But it has always seemed to me kind of fabulous, cheesy, and Green Bayish (the less said of the Packers the better). So, tell me no tales of emotional vampires—traditional vampires tend to be rather unemotional, in my experience, and upside-down is no worse than upside-up, just different….

Emotional vampires wear glasses to draw you in before they bite.

From the Blog: those Cal Aggies—always up for some fun. Pretty open-minded for 1962-63.

Lived in Madison for 4 years during my youth … never heard of Oconomowoc or emotional vampires, but loved the Dells and the Ducks …!

Well. SOMEBODY has to inspect the underside of the bathmats before they’re shipped, right?

OK. I’ll just say it. How the holy heck do I pronounce Oconomowoc? OH-KONO-MO-WALK?

Oconomowoc is the home to an enclave of emotional vampires.

I went to summer camp in Oconomowoc when I was in high school, right on the lake.

Boy, that was obscure. I can almost hear the Buffy soundtrack playing in my head. Now I feel emotionally drained.
