Kid is prescient. She clearly gets the it is what it is idea that either item, the thought or the action, is self explanatory.
Most people seem to prefer being told what to believe and why, instead of educating themselves on an issue. Much easier to form opinions when someone provides them.
Guess it’s an offshoot of the prepackaged sandwiches found in bus stop eateries in early years. Usually were stale and way out of date, but if one was hungry for something, it didn’t matter.

Just remember, 82.456% of all statistics are made up on the spot. And get extra suspicious if there are that many decimal places in a statistic. ;-)
