I had a golden retriever – the dog was my shadow. The problem with him was as I was mowing my lawn, I would often come across a stick. I’d pick it up and throw it out of the way. It was in my way again on the next pass.

When was the last time Wiley appeared in the strip? Characters in this strip are, sadly, pretty much interchangeable parts.

Fetch is not a game for the faint of heart or, apparently pirate analogs. I wonder how Wiley lost his leg.
