Gotta question the “freshly baked” claim. I mean, are they baked INSIDE the ATM? If the machines are being stocked by humans, those baked goods are only going to be as fresh as how long ago they were taken out of the oven.
That’s because drugs are legal in Amsterdam. People go for a bike ride, do drugs, forget where they left the bike and go buy a new one. It’s a vicious cycle!
The cupcake thing is innovative and maybe will last, given the company attitude toward improvement of service and delivery. Good on them.
If we followed the model of Amsterdam, lots of problems would go away or at least be reduced to fewer fatalities, serious injuries, property damage, and jackings. Cleaner air would be a great start.
That guy was lucky. Last week a report said someone had a run a winning ticket through the wash and the info has washed off. Now it’s just a tissue for wiping tears.
https://sprinkles.com/pages/locations is a list of where they have locations. Not specifically the ATMs although those are on the list. Looks like they are mostly in CA and NV. None further east, although they have a location near me, it’s not close enough to be convenient. Bummer… guess I’ll just keep buying my cupcakes from the store.

Wow, this is the first time I have jumped in right after the comic went live (I’m out west.)
I feel like I am breathing rarified air with the premiere commentators.

I guess the Dutch need to have one bicycle for casual outings and one for formal affairs.

The people in Amsterdam have bicycles like Americans have vehicles. I wonder if that extra bike is for Sunday races?

If no human interaction is required, who eats the cupcakes?
Amsterdam had more people than bicycles before COVID-19.
That’s not double lucky all.

Now, if only someone would invent a fresh donut ATM…

If I lost a lottery ticket worth over one million US Dollars, I’d look for it until I found it, even if it took hours.

So maybe the bicycles eat people. Has anyone investigated this? Because otherwise Amsterdam is going to be a ghost town soon.

Why would anyone misplace a winning lottery ticket?
