Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Enjoy summer school Calvin. If that does not work out at least you will be a year older than your new classmates, except for that classes version of Moe, every class has a Moe, no escaping thatâŠ..
Umm. Uh oh. What the heck is a pronoun these days? Does anyone remember predicate nominatives? I think it has something to do with copulatives. âŠis that appropriate?
I had a high school history âteacherâ who regarded humiliation & ridicule as fine pedagogical tools; after one test he told the class âCan you believe that (named the student) answered âWhat was Baconâs Rebellion?â with âThey got tired of getting fried with the eggs.â? Know what? Iâm going to give him the point, because otherwise heâd get a zero.â
Ha-ha! As a teacher (mostly of comics, illustration & writing), if I received this answer⊠Iâd let him know the correct response BUT still give good marks for superior creativity! A+

And then there are adjectives. These are the words that add more jectives to a sentence.

An Adverb is a verb, supported by ads.
ââItâs time to have your own (whatever), click here.ââ
Proceeds from this ad, go to purchase sneakers for homeless Pandas.

A pronoun (as well as a peck from a week or so ago), Calvin, is something to which you should be paying attention in class.
