I know of an unscrupulous woman, a nurse, who faked two falls and got money both times….and she TOLD a friend she did. It’s one thing to be stupid but another to let people KNOW you’re stupid.
If they have the Caution Wet Floor sign out, I would argue that they are’nt liable but usually they settle out of court anyway because you never know what a jury will do!
