I see $35 million helped him bounce back from the existential funk of discovering he’s a character in a comic strip! Lucky doggy.

Maybe Mr. Hound should’ve been a pig, cuz he certainly is a hog. Anyway, capitalism sucks.

Yep, Moscow Mitch says that is why jobs can’t be filled, too much largess. The fact that the kids are home and childcare is scarce means nothing to the Family Values Party! What a joke!

“What the market will bear…” CEO salaries are set by boards, that are populated by… executives of other companies. It’s a gamed market and US executive pay disparity is the largest on the planet

Conservatives just can’t figure out why people don’t want to work for 50 cents a week, with no insurance and little or no vacation or sick leave.

If minimum wage had kept pace with inflation, it would now be somewhere around $25 an hour.

Mr. Hound should also make a big donation to the NRA as they help blue collar Republicans decide to vote for the Senators who agree with Mr. Hound’s “ME FIRST” philosophy.

It’s a great strip, with two exceptions.

First, he would have offered him the current minimum wage, $7.25.

Second, he would have told him, “Money isn’t the only thing, Ducky, you should work for the satisfaction of doing a good job! Money is a poor motivator (except at my level).”

And, as if by magic, as soon as wages start going up, the “economists” start wringing their hands about inflation!

Surprised that Mr. Hound isn’t demanding that lucky Duck pay him for the “opportunity” of working for him…

Is the job opening for a “mop man”, or a “mop duck”?

When government want the rich to do something, they give them more money.

When government want the poor to do something, they take money away.
