I remember that time when Garfield stole an ice cream truck

The hills are alive with the sound of ice-cream music.

“And pizza sprinkles.”

You’re gonna need all the ice-cream you need, to survive your aweful summer season, keep safe hydrated everyone.

Is the dove mourning because you ate its mate?

Morning doves and Chick-a-dees I love birds.

That’s some pleasant background with a perspective today. A nice change from the usual wall.

Ours for some reason seems to play the music that you hear at Christmas time!

Sitting on the front porch with my nickel I earned polishing the furniture, waiting for the truck to come near for my summer popscicle. Ah, good memories.

Well, the ice cream truck is everybody’s delight!

coincidentally all of those things is food that Garfield loves:) I wonder if they sell cookies & chickadee swirl?

A friend told someone on Facebook that if you have a House Wren house, a Black-Capped Chickadee can also use it. He was given a warning. He sent the FB Nazis a article on B-C’d Chickadees but never got a retraction.

I remember the ice cream truck in the Chicago suburbs played, “In My Merry Oldsmobile” when it drove through the neighborhood.

…the mourning dove…the black-capped chickadee…and the screech of an attacking hawk!

Must be near supper time. That is invariably when the ice cream truck appeared in my neighborhood when I was a kid.

I used to drive a sno-cone truck. I always made the stops at the time requested by parents and had kids and adults waiting!

Jeremy from Zits and his pal Pierce are driving an ice cream truck this summer. Wonder if they’ll run into (not literally) Garfield!

My neighborhood is a dead end street that the ice cream truck does not come down….(sigh). On the other hand we have way less traffic.

Nothing sounds quite like it

I never got ice cream from the ice cream truck as a kid, because we lived in a rural area where the ice cream truck never came.

Doesn’t get much better than that.

honestly, I expected a dust cloud in his shape the moment he heard that sound.

That’s the best sound of all! Plot twist: the ice cream truck is actually a library truck playing the same ice cream truck music. Happened to me once.

Yep, as a kid that was music to my ears.

Anyone who has to actually live with a mourning dove…or a white wing…doesn’t find it joyful! They will drive you batty! They sound like a lovelorn owl!
