Those extra fingers usually are found among pols, whose abilities to lift funds from reluctant donors’ pockets are second to none.
Elizabeth Taylor was one of a kind. As with most greats she did some fabulous work along with some truly over dramatized relationships that mirrored her marriage to Richard Burton.
By the way, that same movie also included one of the largest moving set pieces ever built – the pyramid throne she rode through the gates.
If, as some comedies have suggested, aliens have been watching our ‘history’ beamed into space, then John Wayne’s voice should be familiar to some of them. Seeing him in western gun-fight movies might be one reason some have never wanted to visit Earth. The chaos caused by a certain recent pol might be another.
“Polydactyly is the condition of having extra fingers or toes. BELIEVE IT, OR NOT!!!” Wha?!? So what! ‘Lachrymose’ is the condition of crying more frequently than usual. Who gives a flying…….?!?
“The Duke” was substantially more than a cowboy actor, and he wasn’t “late”, he died early.
In 1963 I fell in love for the 2nd time, the first was with Sophia Loren running down the hill in ‘The Pride and the Passion". In 1964 I fell in love for the 3rd time after seeing ’Goldfinger’. Then, lust being triumphant, I became a teenager.
Are you sure? I thought it was that ’We’re Number One!’ plastic finger.
Instead of politics or tired long-winded jokes, why not stick to the RBION topics? For example: Is the extra digit useable or is it sometimes amputated in infancy?
Cleopatra was Greek, a descendant of General Ptolemy, who was a general of Alexander the Great. This Ptolemy made himself Pharaoh. They are related to Ptolemy, the mathematician / astronomer.
In all of my 70+ years, I’ve never known or seen anyone with more toes or fingers. When I was a kid, our next door neighbor only had a thumb on one hand. He said his fingers were sawed off. That’s all I remember about it.
Certainly John Wayne did a lot of Westerns; that’s what the studios made. My favorite of his, though, is The Quiet Man, with Maureen O’Hara. The Sands of Iwo Jima and Hellfighters were really good, too.

John Wayne’s grandson was also the body double for the titular Mandalorian in that series.

I looked it up, and John Wayne’s voice got into the film by accident somehow. It was all distorted, though. Bizarre.

Wasn’t there an episode of The Outer Limits about a guy with six fingers?

I used to work for Sumisoyoshi-Kai: I have 22 fingers, 4 thumbs, 2 hands, and ear and a head. Someone had to clean-up.

I wonder if Polydactyl people have an advantage at playing piano, or guitar, or saxophone. And do they use two fingers to flip a bird?
