I think it was Rat from Pearls Before Swine who said "I regret the past and fear the future. That leaves only the tiny moment of time called the present to be happy … Darn, missed it "
This old panda wonders, ‘’Why doesn’t Earl have a basement or a shed? Everyman needs a redoubt. Does he even have a backyard?‘’ If he lives in an apartment, there’s always the barbershop, coffee shop or library. And ’’What’s for Dinner?’’
Incorrectly attributed to the late LDS President Thomas S. Munson by the likes of Brainyquote, it actually appeared in a 1985 book by him titled Favorite Quotations from the Collection of Thomas S. Monson which was a collection of his favorite quotes by others. In the book he attributes it to Weber.
I like the first part of what Earl stated, too bad the youth to young adults destroy the past and not try to learn and improve the future, instead of tearing down the past.

Does she ruin every special moment Earl has with Nelson because she’s jealous or just mean?
