I always wondered why somebody as rich as Bruce Wayne didn’t hire some flunky to stand outside all night watching the sky on the off chance that the Batsignal would light up. And I guess it was just lucky for Gotham City that no crimes were ever committed in broad daylight.
During comet Kohoutek, I drove the family way west of Milwaukee to get away from light pollution. Three years later we moved out here, and a decade or two so did light pollution.
