You can have nice things, or, you can have a cat….

Now sell the cat.

That is like us and our area rugs.

Our dogs are trained, however sick and the rheas happen.

Cheap rugs only!

Maybe you should just look fore something that is already cat scratched.

There’s a cat resistant one for $20,000. They don’t make one that’s certified cat proof.

Was that her plan? Was she hoping for the $200 couch all along?

[The $4000 couch makes the $200 couch almost seem free.]

Or was it (just) the cat (scratching) that convinced him?

Cats can be trained to scratch where you want them to, it is just a bit of work on your end to do it. Cats like treats, reward them for doing right.

I’m often not sure why I love my cat so much either. LOL

One time, my parents went shopping for a new couch at a place that sold rental-return furniture. There was a sofa that they really liked on for a good price. My mom noticed some light cat scratching on the front, but my dad told her it would look like that after a week at our house anyway. They got it. It lasted for years. Funny thing: the scratched parts never looked any worse. Once it was fuzzy, it was fuzzy. Great comfy sofa, too.

My cat has a scratching post & she STILL scratches on my computer chair . I’ve tried everything .

Just like our family. The cat owns the house, we just live here.

Hopefully it’s made out wrought iron.

My cat does that all the time. It’s a big scratching post.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
