That’s what I hear about everybody not liking lengua. I’ve tried it in a burrito and it is not that bad. It just has to be prepared just right like any other cut of meat, offal or not.

Never ate lengua. Don’t know what it is but I’d love to try it.

I had it once, it wasn’t bad. Texture like bologna. And my Momma from Missouri didn’t call it lengua ;)

I’m reasonably sure that Carmen understands “no, thanks” in both English and Spanish. Maybe she’s just sadistic? And who’s eating the leftovers?

Tongue actually makes quite a good sandwich. Swiss cheese, a little horseradish. Yum!

I’ve fixed it, it is REALLY good! You have to get past the outer skin part with the goosebump looking things, I hate touching it! Wear gloves…

The first time I ate it, I thought it was roast beef. I don’t care where it’s been, if it tastes good I’ll eat it. I still remember eating goat in High School. Mmmm, tasty.

I love the way my wife cooks lengua, but we can’t it as often since the demand has caused the price to skyrocket

Lengua makes a great sandwich on Rye with spicy mustard and maybe a bit of horseradish.

A slice of Swiss cheese goes well, too.

I guess I am the odd one, I like tongue! At least the way my mom made it.
