Hmmm, looks like those two guys in the last frame are considering that killing Jane would kill Tarzan, which means La has to choose one of the Opar boys. … of course, La will be seriously P.O.’d and have the one who kills Jane become altar decorations…

And if they let Jane go and kill her outside of Opar, they would need to let La know Jane was dead, otherwise she might just wait for Tarzan to show up again… And then La would order some more altar decorations…
