Hey, Volthar, can you say, “pyroclastic flow”? Yeah, they don’t do much for property valuations, but they are kinda great for archeological preservation. So at least Anthor has that going for it.
Two thoughts today: 1. I thought the two cities were Athne and Cathne in the original Burroughs story. Maybe the writer wants to avoid blatantly stealing from the master, kind of like DeCamp and Carter did in their (much poorer) Conan tales. And 2. Tarzan is grilling in today’s “1 and Done” here on GoComics.
So city names have been changed but the plot (so far) remains the same. I wonder if Tarzan’s pet lion Ja-bal-ja wil arrive to rescue him in this version.
