Tarzan is still on vacation this week, still recovering from the beating he took as a prisoner. Filling in for him will be Jay Garrick, who will catch all of the arrows in mid-flight – saving the life of this idiot.

(Jay Garrick, of course, because this is a reprint. Barry Allen won’t inherit the job ’til years later in Showcase #3.)

The lead arrow looks to be about 12” from Harrigan’s gut, how will Tarzan stop this one?

Can’t trust those Arabs. Rambul is going to have sport with Harrigan even though he saved the old oak’s life. All because Tarzan escaped. Harrigan certainly didn’t have anything to do with that. He was too busy partying with the girls.

Guess the magic potion didn’t work and the “Old Oak” has been felled and now Harrigan is in for some real hard luck!
