What about the kittens, Tarzan? Are YOU going to raise them? Or are you going to just let them die??

Isn’t Tarzan suppose to find the thorn in the paw, remove it, and have a friend forever. Aesop’s fable fable?

In this case, I was kind of rooting for the lion. At least to escape.

Ah yes finally. The artworks of Tarzan and lion in all three panels was copied by Sy Barry and used in Phantom in around 70s or sometheeng. Exactly same kinda drawings but with Phantom and a tiger and perhaps a lion too in another story. If only me could shows ya thems panels now but unfortunately me has losts that data and unable to finding em online right now.

Sabor bonked bonked Tarzan on the head, proving that the female is deadlier than the male. No male lion has ever damaged Tarzan before.

Just a bit of trivia: The bit about Tarzan killing lions is so much part of the Tarzan stories, that the city of Tarzana, California has it as the city emblem. (Tarzana was originally a housing development owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and is one of those small cities that make up the San Fernando Valley portion of Los Angles).
