People watch YouTube videos because Hollywood hasn’t had a new idea in years. Everything is a remake. Same plot just more computer generated junk and more garbage.

When did Muffin became bigger than Nelson?

I hate to say it but sometimes I feel like I am married twice—once to my wife and once to my phone!

Can’t count the number of times my grandpa put the TV on to watch something and fell asleep instead. My grandma and I would chuckle but quietly.

Today’s generation it is video games!

When I’m home alone, which is rarely, I put you tube on. I can listen to whatever I want too. Makes whatever I’m doing better.

Muffin has the big screen!

To an outside observer, something may look like a mindless activity. And maybe it is and maybe it isn’t. If it is, it could be necessary downtime. It could also mean some very deep thinking. Who knows what is going on inside the head/mind of a cat, or an “Earl”, or you or me.

The cat sees things we miss. Earl sees things Nelson might miss.

I could stare out a window for hours. Birds, squirrels, clouds, lots to look at!

I still use my library for BOOKS to read. What a “novel” idea. Though 99% of what I read is history. Fiction writers can’t come close to the evil that lurks in men’s hears. Reading now “Paddy Whacked” about the Irish Mob(sters) in America. You don’t need to read murder mysteries with history like this. Hoowee. Also reading, “Superman is Jewish?”.

@I’ll fly away History books are written by the “winners”. I always am suspicious of what I read as well as what I see on TV.

Fun Fact; Cats are Masters of Inertia.

They’re not just sitting there. They’re communicating back to the mother ship and reporting details of the life forms on earth and the best methods of invading.

For me when nothing on I turn TV on, now for hubby he watches old shows, for me I read, looks like next week be more reading not into sports so not watch the Olympics. Not into game shows either. I do more reading during summer time.

Muffin doesn’t have to spend 1/3 of its watching time being subjected to shrieking audio and frenetic video, aka “commercials”.

Sad but true.

Electronic media has changed us forever. We may be better informed than our ancestors, but so weak, physically and spiritually.

To each his own tv.

There’s no comparison to looking outside and watching the TV. Sometimes, there’s more happening outside.
