I don’t think any of us were able to figure out how the resignation from the library board would tie in with MHS athletics. Anyone want to guess how our golf hustler will tie in? Looked too young to have a kid in high school… Feigning interest in Heather to try and get the inside knowledge on betting on high school games?

P1, More like the summer crawls on. And we better have time for a day or two at Milford Lake to meet the new star tight end that Heather will coach up.

P2, Everybody that plays golf has a great swing sometimes. Usually, it’s on the last hole. That’s what keeps people coming back.

P3, Heather is going to find out early what it’s like to work for Gil as he’s already planning not to show up for work and Heather takes his place.

Haha…Johnny Jawor just about described me! Mostly a good swing, then once in awhile a great swing but then however, a bad swing. Gee….am I a golf hustler too?

Gil is really pissed. As Frank Costanza would say, “That’s my move!” Gil has been hustling the locals for years with that play, and now this guy is moving in! His next call is to Vito from Goshen to see about some broken thumb joints.

Heather is going to uncover the true identity of the sandbagging Hendricks! She will ask him some tricky questions about industrial solvents and then boom—page one on the Star!

The fact that once or twice a game he has a great swing doesn’t mean anything. You could say that about anyone who’s a decent golfer. Now if he always “luckily” had a great swing when he really needed it, then it’s suspicious.

And how does Jawor know this? He’s sitting around the clubhouse and Pro Shop all day, when he’s not giving lessons. Has he been riding along in a cart watching the whole round when Hendricks plays?

And why is Gil now bringing Heather into this? Does he suspect Hendricks is a creep too, and is using her as bait?
