So you can see the sun rising in the west?

Great idea. It just dawned on him.

It’s how they faked the moon landing

When you think about it; the sun you see setting, is actually rising someplace else at that very moment…..

Why bother? It’s just a computer simulation anyway.

The “sunset” will be the wrong angle, implying it was filmed in the southern hemisphere. Could be just as pretty, though.

If you film it, you’ll have a better chance of seeing the sun turn green.

What’s the app setting to play the video backwards?

Logic or lazy? Doesn’t matter if it works.

I legitimately considered moving to the other side of the continent at one point, because I liked watching the sun rise over the ocean but I figured I could get the same effect at a much more reasonable time on the west coast.

Watching the sunrise over the ocean was one of my favorite times to get stoned.

You seen one sunset you’ve seen…..one sunset.

Many years ago, a cheap film producer once tried that, rather than pay for travel to the other coast. It wasn’t until the first screening that they noticed the problem -- the waves all going out.

Or skip both and look for it on YouTube.

Why go to all the trouble of filiming it. Can’t you just watch it rise on your way home from a fine night of partying?

Because the birds will fly backwards, as one Hollywood film director discovered.
