Ah wait a minute! George is cool and a great addition.Baby Hammy? Yeah maybe not so much. Why the dismissal?Too much for the cartoonist to keep up with?
Did you know that Lyle Waggoner (of the Carol Burnett Show) noticed that trailers for stars on Hollywood back lots weren’t optimized for the use case, so he formed his own company and made millions renting out luxury caravans.
But, but. but….George wasn’t just a one-week flash in the strip. He’s been with them for a long time now…Please, please, please, don’t get rid of George. Don’t need an extra Hammy, but George!!!
Ohhhhh! This can be like the Batman “A Death in the Family” storyline with Jason Todd! Have a vote by readers of which characters to keep and which to kill off! Better be careful Verne …
Which rock star band was it that had green M&Ms in fine print pages in on their contracts, saying they had to be provided? It wasn’t because they wanted M&Ms, it was because they wanted to know for sure that the venues were actually reading the contracts.

Imagine if they tried to accommodate a pair of possums, a family of five porcupines, a skunk, and a pampered housecat.
Oh, and a very grumpy bear.

Major characters don’t “need to be in every frame” either.

Baby Hammy hasn’t been around long enough to form an opinion.
