Metamucil? I thought we were headed to a Geritol joke.

Last time I said it would be fun to boogie, one of the little kids brought me kleenex.

It can’t be Metamucil—if you leave it sitting in the glass longer than 30 seconds, it sets up like Jell-O—he have to “drink” it with a spoon. Plus, it is opaque and bright orange—I’ve never heard of a cocktail that looks like that. FYI, I’ve been drinking Metamucil daily for over 20 years (on the recommendation of my doctor)—it works!. And on a side note, the large size empty plastic containers can be re-purposed into bird houses, which I sell at our church Craft Fair.

Is this going to be an “oh woe is me I’m so old“ arc? Because that’s what we’re going through over at “Luann” right now..

Old enough to know better, too young to care!

I take mine with a side of Geritol and rum.

43 years? They are practically newlyweds! We are sneaking up on 59 years now.

Yikes! We’re close to that number.

Lets see, 1992 minus 43 is 1949 when they were married. That would be about right for this pair of WWII ex RAF members.

I hope I can have that kind of attitude when I’m 80!! My body can’t boogie now, but maybe that will change when I move into a retirement home!

Playing music does that to a person. It is intoxicating.

Just 43 years?! They look considerably older than that… at least to me, about to celebrate 45 years!

How sweet, for me hubby as his health shows he cannot boogie, we never have and 3 years less the the parents. Hubby is age 75 soon 76 and has to use a walker.

I think I’d prefer my Metamucil on the rocks.

I’m not Superman or anything, but 43 years of marriage was about the time I had to do tower work at 9000 feet in the winter. I agree with Mariah13 – the age and years of marriage don’t line up for most people.

Perfect day for this comic. My parents were married 59 years ago today, and still going strong! <3
