Tevin, who looked like a shrimp just a few days ago, is towering over the field, ready to become the next star Mudlark. Funny how this kid was nowhere to be seen last season, and now he’s the starting QB. Where was he? Lighting it up on the JV team, while the Varsity struggled with bickering quarterbacks? If Gil was paying attention, he should have called him up to Varsity. He’s probably not one of the hundreds of late Milford transfers who are athletic stars, or we would have gotten some clues, like, nobody knows him. The other possibility is he’s only a Freshman, which is possible, but unlikely. If he is, we should be seeing him until 2025.

Oh, and it was nice that we had such a heartwarming farewell for Marjie. Apparently, instead of having Heather shadow her and get some valuable training, Marjie took her buyout and was on a plane to Arizona or something within 2 hours. Heather is just dumped into the job with a “good luck” and “hope you figure it out.”

Not only did Heather watch practice, but she likely tapped some keys. If she can make a decent Sloppy Joe, Gil will never let her leave.
