This comic would not be the same if they were living in the city. Their current environment is what makes it unique and beautiful, and it is perfect for their adventures! ♡
“We gotta get out of this place, if it’s the last thing we do. We gotta get out of this place, ‘Cause girl there’s a better place for me and you.” Such a Burdon.
This is totally unrelated but did you know if you bring in a petition to stop the sun to your school/work, if it’s big enough you’ll get at least 100 signatures
when a town or village reaches critical mass, all of a sudden you have corporate fast food joints, big box stores and everything paved over. not something to aspire for.
You also got a Sasquatch. Sounds like Heaven by the Sea. Amelia, don’t let people know where you are or your wish for those things just might come true….
Ironically, my town was like that when I was young and I thought it was the most boring place in the world. Often, I’d refer to it as “Mayberry!” Now that I’m an adult, that kind of place seems like an idyllic memory and the kind of town most of us long for!

Once you have spent time in a noisy and polluted area you will be thankful you live where you do.

Mr. Fishface. Is he on a lost pet flyer? A fish-for-sale ad? A WANTED poster?
I think I see the little detachable “contact” tabs.

Great use of the comma, Rose. She loves that little town♡.

It seems Rose’s theme song would be “Big Yellow Taxi” and Amanda’s, “Nothing But Flowers”.

Amelia’s a city girl, unhappy in a quiet town. She’ll move out when old enough.

Thanks, Rose.

I honestly hadn’t taken Amelia to be a city slicker. Bit of country air will do you some good, girl.
Also, in the country, some of your antics are going to be a little less likely to cause serious property damage.
Only a little, mind you, but we’ll take whatever we can get on that. :P

Where I live, Helly Hansen‘s are more precious than diamonds. Or, they used to be before climate change.

Autumn is my favorite but in South Texas it isn’t cool enough or long enough anymore.
