See how it continuously fails to plummet to the floor? That tiny magnet is defying the gravitational pull of AN ENTIRE PLANET. Gravity is really, really weak.

Janis and Arlo really need to take a beginning physics class!

Orbiting a star that’s intent on frying us. Orbiting in a galaxy that’s intent of swallowing us.

Yes. And that ball is populated with plants and animals and other things that want to kill each other.

And while scientists think they kmow it all and can control it all…God gets the last laugh.

Reality bites.

Arlo has discretely avoided speaking of the expanding universe.

We’ll never have a complete understanding of our existence since we lack the necessary conceptual framework. Our conceptual abilities face the conundrum of either a universe that suddenly appeared from nothing or a universe that has always existed. Neither results in a “complete and satisfactory understanding”, at least not for me.

Regarding “relativity” everything is relative!

I am so glad we get a new story arc on Monday, I never did well in science in school and I have been confused by strip and all the comments all week.
