Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I was at the battery store to have them replace the battery from my computer backup supply. It was difficult to remove. I detached the battery cable, had the counter guy hold the case and I yanked out the battery exclaiming, âItâs a boy!â because of the dangling cable. The three guys behind the counter had a laugh but the one lady in the store was very upset. To settle matters I feigned a cell phone call to my Rabbi and request an appoint for a Bris.
This is not funny. Or is it? Who am I talking to? Who is listening? Who will find out what I think or say? Are we being recorded? Will there be forgiveness in the future?
Comedy has certainly changed from what it use to be. The really talented comedians have no problem humoring usâŠâŠthe rest seem to think we like hearing how many times they can drop and âFâ bomb in a single sentence. Thereâs no talent there.
I was going to list all the subjects that someone would take offense at, but all the books in all the world would not be enough to contain themâŠ(hyperbole still works, though)
Iâve never related as much to a comic as this one. I was thinking about posting a funny remark after this, but I couldnât think of anything but the elephant in the room
Jokes are fine, as long as theyâre not in poor taste, whatever that means on any given day. I can offer a long list of people who lost their jobs because someone was offended, and thatâs Just Plain Wrong.
Interesting that I see people who find sex, nudity, scatology, and Anglo-Saxon words for the same objectionable, who are triggered by people who object to sexism, racism, homophobia, and jingoism.

Yep, the only people you can make fun of these days are rich white guys. And, letâs face it, theyâre not very amusing.

It is harder to find sources of comedy that donât involve belittling others. Thatâs the difference between a good comedian and a hack.

Play it safe, Zack!! Political correctness doesnât just kill comedy but courage too.
