Spud, even with a jar of fireflies, isn’t that bright.

Dear Wallace, always the optimist,

The seagull will think of Swiss Cheese.

Or as some of us know it, “chiss sweeze”.

Be it friendship or enemyship, an alienship nevertheless :)

Looks like Mr. Henry was a little crabby when he drew this one..:P

I love how the stars actually recede in panel 2.

Catching fireflies on a starry night with your bud. What could be better?

I like how the jar of fireflies illuminates Spud’s face in the first two panels.

My all time favorite comic strip. Thank you for always making my day❤️

Cheese! Mmmm…!

I love how wallace doesn’t miss a beat.

And therein lies the difference.

I also love the lighting in this one. The strip actually looks like it is glowing!

There is so much to love about this comic. The art, the friendship, being out in nature.

Both types probably. I hope for the friendship one though….

The Swiss cheese looks worried! As well it might if the seagull is thinking about it.

I don’t speak ‘Seagull” so can someone please translate its comment?

The fireflies here are already done. Come August, the nights start getting cold again. Seems to be the end, after about the 4th night or so in a row. I miss them so much.
