I know the feeling.

I’m the idiot who put in a lot of overtime.

in my case it was 8 hours…

Aunty, if your boss is as lackadaisical with giving you your paycheck as your attitude towards your job is, you’d be screaming.

Be your own boss: never too early, never too late. 24/7.

Just think of retirement Aunty…

I went up to the manager on duty to let him know I was leaving early and it was okay with my supervisor. He cut me off to tell me to help unload the Dairy and Frozen truck and wound up clocking out at my scheduled time!

I tried not to be too obvious, “Just goin’ to the bathroom, (next to the parking lot)”.

these people never worked outside of an office.

With most office workers now working from home, they can take off any time they want to. It’s difficult to get a hold of one of them when needed. I do in home care and I don’t have a choice. They use GPS tracking to make sure of where we are (sign in & out). I’m going to do my job, the situation is just ironic.

I’ve had a couple bosses who would demand that you come in for a “Very Important Meeting” that somehow Never Happens.

Always on a day that you needed to take off for important personal reasons.
