this reminds me of a weird al yankovic song: first world problems.people still call me on the phone.what’s wrong with them? don’t they know how to text? LOL
He ignored the phone because he figured it was probably another spam call or text. Besides, its impolite to speak with your mouth full, it might be impolite to text with your hands full also.
I don’t think they live in a 10,000 square foot home. Try the old fashion way of just calling out his name or just getting out of the chair and looking for him. Definitely getting a little lazy in her middle age, though I wouldn’t tell her that myself as I value whatever time I have remaining in this life……
I doubt Brutus ever leaves the house without letting his ball and chain know that he was going out, so Gladys should have known he was somewhere in the house.

I never take my phone to the bathroom, where I miss most of my calls. I also turn my phone off before dinner and leave it off until morning.

Ok Gladys, now that you found me, get out of my chair. (Kidding, Brutus wouldn’t say that. He may think it though.)

An excellent question. That is what total reliance on tech does. You forget KISS at your peril

Gladys, he forgot to charge his cell phone. Besides he’s been in another room the whole time!

I’m surprise she wasn’t in the kitchen for that long.

Just love how technology is bringing us all together. At the rate we’re going, we may not survive all of this ‘togetherness’.

My wife accuses me of having selective hearing. I told her, “That is not true. I hear you now and I don’t want to.”
