I’m strong to the finish cuz I eats me spinach I’m Sockeye the Salmon man.

I’d rather run with the salmon than the bulls.

Those slab feet! :o

They die soon after reaching the fin-ish line.

So what the reward" What’s the point? Why “compete” in this race?

Well … they do get to spawn before they die.

RUN, Salmon, RUN!

Love it! Seeing that Salmon huff and puff reminds me of the Rhino in Jumanji.

Poor salmon farmers can’t even afford shoes.

Well, dam!

Having been a runner for a few decades, I knew there had to be running races called ‘salmon run’. Google (and the race organizers) didn’t disappoint.

Is this a Twilight Zone episode?

Actually NOT funny, a near extinction level of Coho salmon in the Columbia basin/Duwamish waterway due to industrial pollution, Hanford nuclear waste, and dams- even with massive fish hatcheries and trucking up river; has led to also endangering/near extinction the southern Orca pods of the Salish Sea. Northern pods and salmon along Canada/Alaskan waters are doing okay.

That’s what happens when you let the Bears into the locker room before the race.
