Power corrupts and thick sliced power corrupts like cafe-style raisin toast.

Anyway, but loose and fancy free will suit me.

I don’t like the way that cowboy is eyeing that jello mold on that cat’s head. I know a cat that wears a jello mold hat and she does NOT like the intrusive stare at her or it.

That kettle head’s nipple is sagging below the equator.

…slightly chilled, please….

If you can’t have a thick slice of power, bacon will do quite nicely.

And make it raw, unrefined and unconstrained.

That kettle has developed a couple of leaks. Have a care when using. Or better yet, replace it, along with new power outlets.

“They” say that power corrupts, but I think it’s more a case of power attracting corruptible people. With a tip o’ the hat to Frank Herbert.

…and a side of humility.

I’ll have that thick slice of power served up with a touch of totalitarianism on toast, and some delightful despotism for desert.

Journal of Comic Strip Coincidences: 27 Sep 2021—Zits4 Oct 2021—Sherman’s LagoonSeries about alien abduction. Not an exact coincidence, but notable because 1.) It’s a series. 2.) Unusual for both comics which are usually mostly “slice-of-life”.

I shan’t be the Pot calling that tea kettle Black (though such it is). Amid a miscellany of characters and quizzicals, however, it draws attention by its bold, brash, naked lust for Power. Well, to each his/its own; but be wary of the Resistance!
