Just heard of a woman who stole $250K from her husband and convinced him he had alzheimers. I wonder if Opal is working on that.

There’s nothing embarassing to Opal anyway … and it isn’t and won’t be embarassing to Earl either … as long as it stays in the diary.

I journaled through the years….but I thought I don’t want my personal thoughts to be known when I’m gone……so I ripped them up and threw them out. I still journal, but on my iPad….about everyone in my family….their accomplishments, etc.

As a writer, my husband knew what he was getting into when he married me, and is the featured star of so many of my essays. As always, Mr. Crane has captured us perfectly.

I think hat Earl, if he were wont to, could fill quite a few volumes about Opal. But a husband soon learns to bite his tongue and move on.

Journal? Isn’t that just another name for “diary”?

Volume 5. The Jump Suit

My wife went through my journals from before I met her and became jealous of people she didn’t even know. :(

Not useful in a book. Do your journal on a computer and then you can easily look up when events occurred and how you repaired things or where you bought something, or how you liked a particular restaurant, and on and on.

Earl should snap a pic of Opal wearing her bunny slippers. Post on Instagram.

Gees, use a computer, instead, that is, if the first page starts “You may call me Ishmael….”
