Why, there are leftovers because I doubled the recipe. There was just too much to eat in one meal. What other reason could there be? So, casserole for dinner tonight or lunch tomorrow? Hey, why not both?
My wife will save every last scrap of left over food, put it in the refrigerator then forget it. I’ve started to use it for lunches at work. It saves time and money and is usually pretty tasty.
I make leftover soup. Just throw everything in a pot and add broth. Big problem though, is when it is really yummy, you can never make it the same way again.
I like leftovers and am happy that I don’t have to cook another day, or someone can use them for a lunch. We’re going to have an empty nest in a few years, so my husband better learn to like them too.
I lived on casseroles in college. Make a large amount and eat for days. Noodles of some sort, ground beef, cheese, soup – yummy fresh and later on. Don’t even have to reheat. Gladys I’ll take what Brutus doesn’t want!

If it’s leftovers, I’ll just make a sandwich.

I have an idea, let’s leave the leftovers and go out to eat. Might find something more palatable to eat.

I like me some leftovers cause that means lunch the next day… but that is funny about why they have leftovers though. :D

I like leftovers because it means I don’t have to cook again that day. But I have never made a casserole.

Hear hear, I’m with Brutus on this one. Spaghetti or stew okay leftover and on Turkey day but have a clearing out of others.

Brutus has been getting in some good ones, lately. They’ll cost him, of course, but they are proper zingers… ☺

Casserole are usually easy to make, difficult to eat, and impossible to get rid of.

The best leftovers are those that get better every day! Like red beans or chili…

Classic definition of leftovers: Christmas cake!

Fair question but it might be better the second time around. Beats starving……
