Mom: “The permanent marker’s mine.”

Good grief!

What a good mommy!!

Yeah, those permanent markers are too expensive.

On Pickles yesterday, Nelson connects the dots on his grandads head.

One never sees an example of Standard American Script lower case “z” anymore. Hard to even recognize by itself.

Perfect mother ♡.

I love how Sterling is just chillin in his tighty whities!

Anyone who sleeps that soundly deserves what happens. Just saying…

So, not a permanent mark on Sterling’s record – yet..

Anybody else think “watermelon” when ya see Dad’s pants? Or do I just need more breakfast?

Well that was considerate of her.

Clearly a case of parents picking their battles here.

Interesting how many of Sterling’s escapades involve “art” – markers on his mom and now his dad, drawing on the walls with Wallace’s coloured pencils….I think we know what his future career will involve!

He does a whole lot of “performance” art too!

at least with red ink marker, there’s a better chance of hiding it..call it sunburn from being out on the lobster pots.

Wallace’s mom encourages creativity. And a good laugh.

Never stifle their creativity …

He initially wanted to create a matching unibrow on dad.

Is dad Greek, or just in Physics? Looks like he’s snoring up a lower case xi, in the first and last panels

I worked with another teacher who grabbed a permanent eraser – instead of a dry erase version – and used it on her “white board.” Ooops!

Wallace has the most awesome mom in alllllll of the comic strip worlds!

If you happen to use a permanent marker on a nonporous surface you can easily remove it by tracing over using an erasable marker. The solvent in the erasable one that makes it erasable will work on the ink in the permanent one. You might have to trace it more than once, but it works very nicely.

I see that Sterling is now wearing underwear instead going sky clad. So mom has made some impression on the little imp.

Hmmmm,….if only Sterling used a glow in the dark marker,…..gee thanks M0M,…..

I wish I could sleep that soundly…
