My first thought was: I’m thankful I’m part of the dwindling numbers who can still read cursive.

Taking away Cursive isn’t the only thing that suffered! One’s style, personality, artistic flare and expression of one’s ability to communicate with feeling. One was recognized by his ability to write his name on papers, documents, etc. No two people write the same.

Dumbing down AMERICA has been happening when that fatal day in schools, allowed calculators in the classrooms and that begun a trend and spiraled downward when students didn’t have to THINK anymore. Common Core Curriculum is the worst in the history of this nation!

The Audubon Society is changing its name. Apparently John was a bit of a racist.

Re: human trafficking. It’s a bad thing, and there’s way too much of it in the world, but it’s just bizarre to call it a “real pandemic” when there an actual real pandemic in full swing that’s so far stricken 250 million human beings and killed off (not merely enslaved) 5 million of them. It’s not an either/or proposition. We need to fight against both of them.

The tattoo guy looks exactly like the one who gave me my first and only tattoo 53 years ago. He called himself Sailor Joe, and his parlor was next to the Trailways depot in D. C. Ink artists don’t look like Sailor Joe anymore, I’m pretty sure.

Tagging onto gmu328’s comment: He had to come back and get it done right. The first time, on the other arm, they tattooed: No Egerts
