The wine bottle I got was empty, the napkins were lightly used, the sweater has ’Santa’s World Tour 2006’ on it, and the fruitcake looks like it has hieroglyphics on it!
One of my wedding gifts was from a couple we knew who had been married a few months before us. They regifted to us a kitchen thingy, and we found out because inside the box was a note that said “(Husband) we’re so excited you are getting married. We can’t wait to meet your wife.”

Fruitcake is a definite yes, sweaters, maybe, wine, not on your life and napkins, who gives napkins as a gift?

Every year, around Thanksgiving, mom buys a blocked fruit cake and soaks it with rum for a week or so.

I’d eat the fruitcake, as long as it was like Mom made. Heavy, rich, fruity and never dry.

Wine? Who regifts wine? Does wine last long enough to be regifted. So many questions.

If anyone gifts my wife a bottle of wine the only thing being regifted is an empty wine bottle.

Hey, you forgot candles. They are my #1 re-gifted item. Oh, yeah, always unused and even unopened.

Popular with whom?

The most popular re-gift would be the wine. Fruitcake would be the most common re-gift
