Kellogs Cereals put out a Special K Pumpkin Spice flavor that you HAVE to add fruit and anything else you can think of to cover the cardboard flavor. Glad I only bought one box.
A paraphrase on Julie Andrews’s “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down in a most delightful way”. Figgy Pudding flavor does sound like bad tasting medicine though. I still like my coffee hot and black…..
Coffee, Black and strong. Chow hall style – burnt all day. Old days people drank liquor straight with water chaser. Now liquor full of creams and sugars for the sissy class. Come on Brutus, switch to bottle water.
I’ve drunk coffee since I was a little kid. Then, I drowned it in whole milk and sugar. Now, just a little sugar is all it needs. I still like to taste the coffee, but mellowed slightly. Yum.
I tried figgy pudding once. It answered the question, “Why isn’t this a tradition here?” (Since none of you can be sure of my vocal inflections as I write, I’ll add that we already have fruit cake here to serve as a misery filled treat.)
No coffee even allowed in my home. Migraines. Coffee containers with lids, like the cooler-style, I can tolerate from the opposite side of the room. Sometimes. Oddly, I was raised in a home with both parents who drank coffee from morning until bedtime. I was married to someone with the same habit. I never did like the smell of it, though. Now it literally makes me sick. I can be OK in a restaurant, as long as it’s not a coffee shop.

All the cream and sugar in the world won’t get me to drink coffee.

Coffee should only be drunk with coffee.

Coffee always tastes better when it’s Irish.

That’s why a certain coffee chain makes more money on syrupy bad tasting coffees.
wiatr about 3 years ago
That would leave me with an upset stomach and a sugar high.

I like to have a little coffee with my morning cream and sugar.

I take a hard pass on flavored coffee. Black, no sugar, medium roast, and on the strong side. (having some right now as a matter of fact)
I tried a Christmas mix one time….didn’t care for the chocolate and peppermint flavors.

seasonal or no, figgy pudding flavoring is just coffee abuse…

Even rice cakes are good….with enough frosting.

As hinted at before, put enough Bailey’s Irish Cream in there, you won’t care what it tastes like.

Figgy pudding coffee flavor? Hahaha! Sounds gross. I don’t think any amount of sugar or cream will fix that flavor. :-)

life is too short to drink bad coffee

Unfortunately Brutus has a way too much experience with making bad things more palatable.
