What about all the people that watched that stuff? What about them? No counselling for the them?

I recognize the donkey, Pac-Man, happy from “Rudolph’s Shiny New Year,” Olive the Other Reindeer, Chewbacca celebrating Life Day, and He-Man. But who’s the blonde elf?

The only one of those I watched was the Star Wars Christmas Special, and even that one had me leaving the room every few minutes to protect my brain from melting.

Dr Mel counseling anybody on anything is a concept beyond the fringe!!

Poor He Man must be mad that he got sidelined in his own show.

I thought the He-Man one was awesome.

Is that a reference to the Star Wars Christmas special from the ’70s or something current?

So where are Ren and Stimpy?

Where’s poor Opus from, my favorite, “A Wish for Wings that Work”. I have the DVD and watch every year. It is sooo much better than all that silly smarmy stuff in the more popular specials.

I loved the end of the New Years special when Santa declared that he can get back to the castle in only a couple of bongs!?

GAH!

“Olive the Other Reindeer” is well worth watching. And so is “Jack Frost” though I think it’s supposed to be a Groundhog Day special.

Don’t watch the original “Star Wars Holiday Special” if you want to hold onto your sanity. And while I’ve never seen the He-Man one, I can’t imagine it’s message is anything other than “Get your parents to buy you more He-Man toys for Christmas.”

When my kids were little we used to watch the Care Bears Christmas Special, based on the Nutcracker. I don’t know about them, but I always loved it ;)

Tell them not to worry, they will all show-up as a rerun on Netflix.

Nestor the long eared donkey is one of my favorites! Always makes me cry.

I see Mr. Rickard included Olive, the Other Reindeer. Good for him.

Ah, the Star Wars Xmas Special. Nothing says the holidays like a glassy-eyed Carrie Fisher.

I apologize to my parents for watching the Smurfs’ Christmas special as many times as I did.

Yeah, I watch all that stuff for years, I am not psycho, nuts maybe, but not psycho!

The He-Man Christmas special? Star Wars? Yeah, no, those aren’t gunna fly.

Wow. Somebody else remembers “Olive”. We watch it every year on DVD.

It’s a sickness.
