At least we now know that the seagull is not named Amelia.

So for the other occupants of the snow shelter, bait eels are an acceptable clothing addition? I would have thought that the Seagull would have viewed the eels as a great snack option regardless of who they came into close personal bodily contact with. Maybe Spud in particular taste bad. He could have an eggy taste to him.

Wallace, you start with “No Amelias” and then you measure!?! Didn’t you take that as a bad sign?

The seagull totally approved Spud’s motivation.

The seagull disapprovingly eyes Amelia. Hmmm…

I love how the seagull appears to be reclining on his back in the first panel. Probably mimicking Spud on the other side of the door.

There’s a loophole, though – the sign doesn’t say anything about bait squids.

I love how Will includes the Seagull in each strip. We all watch to see how he reacts to the ongoing situations. First kicking back here and then looking seriously alongside Spud, both looking cautiously at Amelia who probably as some bait eels in her pocket.

years ago I was on an overnight deep-sea fishing trip. There was one guy on the boat who was kind of a jerk. Funny thing, bait squids kept ending up in his boots… not sure how….

Except Amelia to evince the same amount of indignation Trump did when he was banned from Twitter.
