I want the story arc on how the shark got the mistletoe. They tend to grow on the tops of trees, on the flimsy outer branches, and are typically shot down with a gun. I’m thinking an illegal speargun hunter went after the shark & our crew intervened! As punishment the ‘hunter’ had to supply everyone with mistletoe, kind of like a community service deal. Hope they learned their lesson if I’m right!
Love this strip and mice give a lot of fun to it. All those tiny mice lined up…..we are still waiting for a volume of Overboards from times past. Happy New Year guys. Happy New Year, Chip.

The mice have proven themselves to be valuable crew mates time and time again.

I think Chip needs to rename this strip to “The Ship’s Mice” or something… it seems to be all about them lately (as in: years and years!)

You’d think that the mice would have a photographer on hand. Split the take with the sharks, 60/40.

My mouse has a house and gets nuts and seeds. Click image to enlarge and then some more to get back to the one with the back ’n forth arrows.

Good for the mice. If they’ve found a way to help their long-term prospects, go for it. They’re fun.
Happy New Year, Crew.
