Interesting that the word ‘scream’ appears in a speech balloon rather than as a sound effect. Usually one doesn’t actually shout ‘scream’ while screaming.
I used to work in a building about 50 feet from an extensive salt-marsh lagoon … filled with swarms of voracious salt-marsh mosquitos, who liked to follow us inside (Quick! Close the d—n door! Don’t let the *#@%! mosquitos in!"). Fortunately, the building had a second story of sorts that contained ducting, catwalks, … and bats! Occasionally one of the bats would blunder into our workspace, and even though they were a little unnerving as they fluttered around looking for a way outside (where dinner was flying around), we didn’t mind (much) and did our best to usher them on their way. However, a handy magician to herd them more effectively would have been nice.

Since there are vampire bats, are there vampire mosquitoes? I’ve heard the Alaskan variety would qualify. .

I’m intrigued. Can I rent them for a party? It would be helpful and entertaining all at the same time.

Mosquitos were so big in Texas, I could have shot a couple and they would have made dinner.

Bat houses are a wonderful thing. No mosquitoes in my yard. Just those little no see ups that get ya. but no skeeters is a wonderful thing.

Austin, TX has over 1 million bats that live under a bridge and come out in the early evening. There are bat tours.

Have you ever watched bats have at a swarm of insects ? It’s quite a sight, but doesn’t sound like this.

Mosquitos are also the reason you don’t kill every spider you see.
