Anyway she was singing about me, not Sal. Carly, Linda, and Helen are my top 3. Most likely would not have a clue about what to say if any of the three stopped by for a visit, but I would be willing take that risk just to sit with any of the three for an hour, even if all I could be was listen.

I remember when this song first came out, my best friend then (and still to this day) purposely bungled the lyrics by substituting “clowns” for “clouds.” Hilarious then, hilarious now.

I had a dream where there were clowns in my comics.

I’ve seen a few mondegreens in the comics lately.

I have to admit, I thought the words were, “there were clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee.” I blame AM radio.

I thought it was “grounds in my coffee” which makes more sense.

My favorite Go-Go’s song is Alex the Seal.

Clowns would be scarier than clouds.
