In a multiparty system, a coalition, representing a consensus of what most people want, can form to govern proactively. That consensus is very rare, — almost impossible — in a two-party system that favors division rather than unity. We, indeed, get the government that we deserve, … even with a 40% plurality that wants no part of either minority party but is forced to continually choose the perceived lesser evil of the duo has that inhered themselves into government.
Despite the artist using the same phraseology as the eponymous “robot” or “android” character played by former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former American president has more than a few screws loose or missing.
I would, however pay “good” money to see Donnie John star in his very own movie – it might possibly finally unseat “Plan 9 from Outer Space” as the worst movie of all time.
Even before the attempted overthrow of a duly elected president, we have had ample evidence that the “Electoral College” was a terrible way to determine who served as the American president. With the attempted coup that almost destroyed democracy here in this country, it is now incumbent upon Americans to admit that, like the senatorial filibuster, the College has outlived whatever small usefulness it might have had and should be gotten rid of!
The “College” will continue to serve ONLY as a mechanism to subvert the will of the people – it is undemocratic and basically authoritarian and fascistic – it hails from a time when the titular leaders did not trust the “people” to have the intelligence to properly choose their leaders.
It hails from a time when the attitude from “on high” was, “Don’t you worry your little heads about the choice, we’ll make the determination FOR you!” – and the American president has actually been chosen by a small handful of powerful politicians behind the scenes ever since!
Considering how much of a total disaster is Biden, President Trump may well be back in 2024. This depiction of Trump is an absolute lie and a gross display of disinformation. Boils down to hate on all America not just President Trump.
Please, God, no! Despite your party affiliation, you will not like living in a Trumpublican Hypocritical Theocratic Authoritarian state — especially after a year or two, when things REALLY start going downhill.
