Uh, February 14 is often very candy oriented. Even for kids.

I’m eating from a bag of valentine’s mars micro candy bars while I read this.

I got a bag of conversation hearts yesterday

All those heart shaped boxes at the store have lots of candy in them Hammie!

It’s summer when there’s a drought of candy holidays. No school, and chocolate would melt anyway.

Kids did you forget Valentine’s? For me Valentine’s the worst day, I am allergic to chocolate, that explains before I knew it years ago that dark chocolate tasted nasty to me, I like milk chocolate, yet my body states no more.

From Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas, my house is filled with candies, cookies and other sweet treats. We get a bit of a break from sweets for New Years but that’s still a humongous meal. Then Valentines candy and Girl Scout Cookies. Oh, and Chinese New Year was this February. If you’ve never had a Chinese pretzel or Chinese almond cookies, GO GET THEM. You can find them in Chinese restaurants or bakeries pretty much year round.

I would mention Valentine’s Day but Hammie probably refuses to acknowledge that holiday.

Umm, Hammie? By your definition, nine out of 12 months don’t have candy eating holidays…
