Maybe you need a pogo stick…..
And I guess pole dancing was out of the question.
They don’t make poles that sturdy.
But trying seemed soooo easy.
Full disclosure: He never did (get over it) and he never will.
If ‘Cosmo’ looked the same in high school, it is no wonder he couldn’t ‘get over it’ ! ! ! ! !
Did he have trouble lifting the pole up and running at the same time?
Hardy har har
in cosmo’s case the bar would’ve been too high at knee height…
Seems like a bird would have some advantages when vaulting.
At least Cosmo tried. I’ll always regret that I never even thought about going out for track and field. Sprinting and the high jump would’ve been my forte.
I was a runner, but I never had the desire to pole vault. It looked scarier than he!!. Although I DID like jumping on the oversized mattress, lol.
I don’t think I’ll ever be over Macho Grande.
“Okay, take this pole and sprint, full speed, but not very far.”
I can do that.
“plant the pole end in the ground and fling yourself way up to that bar”
That looks really fun, how do I get back down?
“fall”
NO NO NO do you think I’m nuts?
Like everything else, it has its ups and downs.
BaDa Boom.
The dreams of youth remain unfulfilled. Particularly, athletic dreams and you are now 80 pounds heavier than your high school weight!
No worries, Cosmo- try out for the NFL.
I guess this explains why Cosmo has set the bar so low for his life.
Funny!
No. He couldn’t get over it… Not without a forklift!
It was the pole’s vault.
